Halo | 7 days new | Wollongong & Sydney Newborn Photography

I love it when the whole family gets involved in a session, and especially so when that family is as gorgeous, lovely and fun as this one. Sweet Halo is the newest member of the family and is clearly adored by everyone, but especially so by her big sis who was super keen to be involved in every aspect of their sessions. With the arrival of Halo, these four wonderful people are now a perfect little family and I’m sure Dad thinks he’s pretty lucky to be surrounded by all these beautiful girls. I think so too!

Isabella | Bondi Newborn Photographer

I love to be able to follow a clients journey from pregnancy through to meeting their gorgeous newborn,  and I was lucky enough to have that opportunity with baby Isabella.  Firstly I got to have a gorgeous maternity session with Isabella’s mum and then we followed it up with one of my most favourite newborn sessions ever when Isabella was born.  This baby girl has the most amazing lips and one of the prettiest, delicate little faces I have ever seen.  She was so alert for a newborn and loved interacting with the camera, even treating us to what seemed to be a tiny little grin at one stage.  I’m sure you’ll agree with me that Isabella is truly a perfect little angel.

Leighton | 10 days old | Wollongong Newborn Photographer

It’s always nice to have the opportunity to be with friends and share in exciting events that take place in their lives.  I got to do this recently with a dear friend  I’ve known since high school.  I was so flattered and honoured to be asked to photograph her new baby girl and jumped at the opportunity to travel to Canberra to do the shoot.  Why Canberra?  Well my friend  lives in the Snowy Mountains and Canberra was the halfway point, so we figured what better place to get together.  I did have the small problem of needing somewhere to actually do the newborn session,  so I put out an SOS call to some wonderful photographers in Canberra and was lucky enough to have the gorgeous Carrie Walker come to the rescue with the offer of using her studio.  Finally everything was set and the session was perfect!  Leighton was an absolute angle and I am just so glad that I got to do this for my special friend and her gorgeous baby girl.

Ella & Audrey | Wollongong Family Photographer

This photo shoot was a race with a massive thunderstorm,  but no way were we  going to let the threat of rain deter us.  With huge black clouds threatening overhead,  I headed to Austimer Beach to photograph this gorgeous little family.  Ella, a sweet two year old cutie and Audrey, 8 months old and brimming with happiness,  were such a treat to work with.  Poor Ella happened to have a bit of an accident right before the session but she was so brave and managed to put on big grins for the camera.  In fact from the photos,  you would never be able to tell this little sweetie had hurt her poor knee. Little sister Audrey was full of cheer and giggles and I’m pretty sure the smile never left her face the whole time! I’m so glad we decided to brave the weather and continue on with our shoot,  because not only did I have such a good time working with these guys, but we also managed to get some really lovely images of them having fun together.
